hi, just a passer-by-er, but very nice photos!
I’m Japanese, and just wanted to tell you those “admission tickets” say its a good-luck charm (omamori); it supposedly works for opening chances and protecting the family/house. Pls come to Japan again!

Nope, it was way lower than Tokyo Tower. But I loved the bar, it was nice. It reminded me of the 83rd storey bar at Baiyoke Sky Hotel in Bangkok!

The bar within Kyoto Tower sounds like a very novel idea. Was the view anything like that from the Tokyo Tower?

darren: Welcome! Daphne Maia: There are still days 10 and 11! pkchukiss: lol sounds like a fairytale story! Ken: Yep. My friend and I knew that we made a very fruitful trip. Even though that was a hanamachi (geisha district), geisha sightings are supposedly very rare. No wonder all the tourists were crowding around the okiya (geisha house)! You know, it's funny. Each time something regarding Japan comes on the news, I would be all ears. I miss Japan!

Believe it or not, I’ve never watched a single Doraemon episode in my entire life, except maybe 1/2 of one when I was in Hong Kong earlier this year, but that was at a barbecue outdoors, so I couldn’t really hear it.

Either way, the Doraemon exhibition looks very nice!

I think you were really lucky to see real geisha.

Takoyaki is delicious, isn’t it? My gf and I must’ve had at least 30 of them when we were in Narita.

Tawawa-chan looks kinda scary to me.

I know the feeling about missing Japan. I have been missing it everyday since I’ve been back to the US, and my vacation was in May!

Wow, I always thought that crocodiles swam in moats, ready to bite intruders who swam in them, and probably fed frequently due to the castle lord’s flippant decision to punish a blundering servant.

Those swans must be the crocodiles in disguise! Don’t go swimming in there!
