I’ve gone past it several times and never thought much about it.
After seeing the photos, I would call the decor stylish. Price is pretty steep though, gotta call them up for some promotions and offer.

The facade may not be that attractive but its uniqueness makes it very marketable and the interior design is also well-planned.

This hotel is looking incredible in these pix.
I have also same opinion that the luxurious suite is the most spacious of the lot and features a sitting area.
In my opinion, tourists who are planning to visit Singapore also must choose this property for their stay.

Thank you for clarifying. We had a fun discussion didn’t we? Yes, I can see why using a different grammatical tense in this context could easily mislead readers. My personal preference is to stick with present tense by default, although there are exceptions like this that I’ll need to be mindful of in future. The line in question has been updated :)

I’d like to add this post of January 21st which queried the authorship of some of the hotel review. I’ve discussed it with Veron and would like to set the record straight. It’s a simple use of the word ‘have’ where the word ‘had’ would have been clearer.
The sentence “You name it, we have it all” gave me the impression that “we” refers to the hotel owners.
If the sentence had read “You name it, we had it all” it would have been clear that “we” refers to Veron and her companion’s experience at the hotel.
Simple as that.

For breakfast we had the cook-to-order set meals comprising eggs (prepared according to your preference), toast, juices and others. They have an American set, a Healthy set, and one more that I can’t quite remember. I had my eggs scrambled and served with smoked salmon.

I am not sure about any special rates for locals. Perhaps you would like to check with their friendly staff?

Oh no, that wasn’t a mistake.

“We” refers to my Mom and I. If you noticed from our room photo, it has two beds, specifically for a party of two like ours!

I also disclosed at the end of the article that this stay was arranged by the hotel.

Honestly, the only problem I had at the hotel was with my pillow which I found too high. It’s really more of a personal preference. I communicated this to the hotel staff, who highlighted that they do have a policy to change pillows on request. I have also indicated this in my review.

Actually, for most of my reviews, they are always conducted by myself + the family member(s) or friend(s) who accompany me on my review. Hence most of the time, especially recently, my articles are worded “We” instead of “I”. I am quite a control freak when it comes to my blog (hehe) so “we” would never ever = myself + management of hotel/restaurant/business of any kind!

Hope this clears things up!

‘We spend a night here recently to find out what you can expect at this 41-room design hotel. Food, culture, music. You name it, we have it all!’
Which ‘we’ is you and which is the hotel management.

I hope this is a one off mistake, as I like to feel that there is a review of the hotel/restaurant or attraction rather than a breathless rehash of the marketing department handout.
The photos are, as usual, very good.

Very impressive. The rooms have a warm, homely and modern feel. Do they have special rates for locals, I wonder? What’s the breakfast like?
