That’s a valid point. I may visit a particular restaurant for the first time just to check out how they use the iPad (or other innovative use of technology). But the main things that would make me a returning customer are its good food and good service. That said, this is a nice perk that I would love to see more establishments offer (as long as they don’t jack up their prices accordingly!).

While Sakae Sushi is famous for using technology to pioneer the process of ordering, I wouldn’t exactly call dining there a gastronomically great experience. ;)
